JOB SUMMARY
The Director Manufacturing Operations will oversee the daily operations of manufacturing, ensuring efficient and effective production of premium business class seating. The Director will drive efficiency and profitability in the manufacturing process. The position will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and ensuring operational excellence

- Develop and execute strategic plans tailored to the aerospace manufacturing industry, specifically focusing on aircraft interiors.
- Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support in driving efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing process.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the aircraft interiors manufacturing sector and implement measures to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to aerospace manufacturing to evaluate operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other executives and department heads to align operational goals with overall business objectives, considering the unique requirements of aircraft interiors manufacturing.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risks within the aerospace industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the aerospace manufacturing sector, including clients and suppliers, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the organization, encouraging team members to suggest and implement new ideas and initiatives within the aircraft interiors manufacturing domain.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and advancements in aerospace manufacturing, particularly in aircraft interiors, to ensure the organization remains competitive and at the forefront of operational excellence.
- Manage, forecast and report annual budget and prepare and manage the annual budgeting cycle in conjunction with Finance.
- Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within rapid growth startup.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Protect the confidentiality of the company’s information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, or related field.
- Masters’ Degree in related field or MBA preferred
- Lean training/certification a plus
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in aerospace.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within the aerospace manufacturing industry, with a specific focus on aircraft interiors.
- This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, a keen eye for process improvement, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations within the aerospace manufacturing domain and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving performance in the manufacturing process.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals in the aerospace manufacturing sector, specifically in aircraft interiors.
- Solid understanding of business processes, quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing context.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the context of aircraft interiors manufacturing.
- Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of financial management principles and practices within the aerospace manufacturing field.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements specific to aerospace manufacturing and aircraft interiors.
- Must have knowledge and experience with FAA and EASA regulations
Skills:
- Excellent influencing, conflict management, and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lead a team comprised of multiple disciplines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate and present to a variety of stakeholders (e.g., customers, OEM)

Salary Range Transparency: $160,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
