Our practice areas include wills, trusts, asset protection, wealth preservation, probate, MassHealth Medicaid applications, guardianship, and conservatorship. What We're Looking for:
- A go-getter with a passion for sales and the ability to "close the deal".
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an estate planning attorney.
- Estate Planning and/or Elder Law experience is REQUIRED.
- Confidence, compassion, and the drive to help people.
Job Specifics:
- Lead the sales process in the initial client meeting.
- Propose and design tailored estate plans for clients.
- Cultivate and nurture client relationships, referral partner relationships, and financial advisors and insurance/annuity brokers.
- Contribute to our marketing efforts, including creating posts for social media platforms, writing articles, blogs, and case studies.

- Training in drafting complex estate planning documents, MassHealth Medicaid applications, elder law practices, and legal marketing processes.

Specific Responsibilities:
•Meet with prospective clients for first consultations and gather all necessary information to make planning recommendations;
•Meet with current plan with existing clients and review possible changes or upgrades to estate plan;
•Engage clients to move forward with preparation of estate planning documents;
•Complete Client Intake Form and submit to Word Processing;
•Schedule document signing meetings (EPEX) within 4-6 weeks from date of engagement;
•Schedule interim meetings (if necessary);
•Review draft of estate plan to ensure that plan meets client's needs and wishes, along with any recommendations made to client;
•Conduct some document signing appointments with client, including notarization of all documents, explaining the plan and how it was designed and answer any questions or address any concerns that they may have;
•Assess any opportunities to refer client to affiliated financial advisor and, if client is agreeable, walk client down to affiliated financial advising firm and set up free initial meeting with a financial advisor;
•Respond to any client phone calls (scheduled only!) or e-mails;
•Keep detailed notes of all meetings and phone calls (either electronically or hand-written) and make sure that notes are maintained inside the client file;
•Meet every other week with the Lead Attorney to discuss complicated client matters and get any technical questions answered;
•Meet weekly for attorney sales meeting;
•All other projects as assigned.

Education and Training:
Licensed attorney by State Bar; experience in Trust, Wills & Probate preferred; knowledge of income, gift and estate tax laws; Notary Public; 5 years minimum experience in the area of Estate Planning to start; Additional on-going courses and continuing education programs in the area of Estate Planning will be made available.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
