Recruitment Manager

Charles River CFO is seeking a part-time, flexible "Recruitment Manager" with substantial experience recruiting accounting and finance professionals, particularly within the CFO/Controller services market.  Ideally, the candidate will have a background as a controller with a CPA and Big 4 accounting firm experience, and be skilled at sourcing, screening, and interviewing top talent to meet client needs. This role will closely collaborate with the VP of Business Development to identify potential candidates and ensure successful hiring strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Actively source, screen, and recommend qualified accounting/finance candidates for CFO and Controller positions through various channels (online platforms, networking, etc.).
  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Design and implement recruitment plans to attract the best talent, aligning with company hiring goals and client requirements.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate fit, technical skills, and cultural alignment with the company.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with hiring managers and the VP of Business Development to understand their needs and identify potential candidates.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and recruiting practices within the CFO/Controller services market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience recruiting accounting and finance professionals, with a focus on CFO/Controller roles
  • CPA certification preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in the CFO/Controller services market
  • Experience with online recruiting platforms and social media for candidate sourcing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and interviewing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
