Job Description

Lakeview Health is looking for an organized and patient oriented Intern to join the Clinical team.The intern works with the treatment team to execute and facilitate post-discharge treatment arrangements with outpatient clinics, private therapists, extended residential facilities, half-way houses, etc. Interns assist the Utilization Management Department with all utilization activities as requested and directed. Interns assist in education and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols. Assist in providing or arranging patient teachings as appropriate.

All will be supervised and approved by a licensed clinical supervisor.

**Note: This is an unpaid Internship**

Requirements:

• Working towards bachelor's degree in Social Services, Psychology or related field.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
